It's not an easy task to get visitors to sign up for your opt-in list. How do you know where to add those all-important selling points? And yes, even if your opt-in list is free, you still have to sell it. People receive too much email and they no longer give out their email addresses to just anyone. It's your job to convince them to sign up for yours.
