50 Fav Design Sites

This is the time of year we start to see writers across the web compile their lists of favorites from the year before.. favorite websites, favorite blogs, favorite photos, bookmarks, discussions, designs and more. I think of these lists as gems because more often then not, these lists bring to my attention sites I may not have otherwise found on my own. Crestock’s 50 Favorites compilation is one such gem.

I’d like to highlight a few of my personal favorites:

• Fifty Foot Shadows – This was not from Crestock’s list, but one of my personal favorites. The photographer is John Carey. I’ve subscribed to his RSS feed for some time now and enjoy a couple of his photos as my laptop wallpaper (Thank you John!). I think his work is striking.
• Digital Photography School – I just updated my digital camera and was please to find this site. Tons of tools and resources to help you be a better photographer.
• 10 Principles Of Effective Web Design – I like Smashing Magazine and this is one of many great articles for webmasters.
