Browsing Chrome from Google
Posted on September 03rd, 2008 in Internet
I’ve been using Google’s Chrome for 2 days now and I have to say, I really like it! I will miss some of Firefox’s handy add-ons, but I enjoy the speed of Google’s new browser. I like the fact that each tab works as an independent application. If a game or site on one tab goes horribly wrong and needs to close (or crash), my other tabs happily continue on with what they are asked to do, without interference. Online applications and downloads run as smooth as silk. I like the thumbnails of my favorite, most visited sites when I open a new tab. I can browse safely and privately and my firefox bookmarks were imported seamlessly.

Oh no, Google has developed a browser? Now do I have to install it so I can see how my web pages look in it too? I’ve got 8 browsers on my graphics computer just so I can check to see how my web design is acting on them before I publish.
Guess I’d better download it.
Good to have you back to posting again – I’ve missed them!

I like chrome too. I keep firefox and all it’s extensions. I use chrome for doing stuff where I don’t need all those extensions.
