On Hollywood, Designs and Red Carpets

I had the pleasure of attending Greg LaVoi’s launch of his new line of designs inspired by someone in my own family. My great-aunt Irene Lentz has been gone now, for over four decades.. but not forgotten. Since I started my Irene-Lentz.com site back in 2009, I have had the pleasure of meeting (online and off) many Irene fans, a couple of authors and several talented individuals in the media and design world. I’ve received wonderful...

Play Bingo in the Comfort of your own Home

Staying indoors and doing nothing to pass the time during those awful rainy days can be quite a trauma, but worry not, there are plenty of fun and exciting things that you can do with your loved ones whenever you’re trapped indoors. Apart from reading, watching the idiot-box or browsing the Internet, you can also play board games or Twister. Playing board games or Twister may be a tad old fashioned to many, but it’s an activity that will...

New Web Host

Changing webhosts was a scary venture for me. I had many sites to move and since I was at my old host for several years, I had many large databases to move as well. HostGator is where my new home is at. Thanks to some feeback from friends (Thanks Tammy!), I worked up the confidence to go for it and make the move. I like that HostGator gives me unlimited space for all my domains. I need that at this point for sure. Yes, paying less for all that...

Warning: Big Huge Labs is fun!

I spent some time at bighugelabs.com the other day, uploading photos of mine and creating some really fun stuff like this photo jigsaw puzzle design you see here of my dog copper. First, I did the “Pop Art Poster” on Copper, which was cute by itself. Then I saved that and did the “Jigsaw”. What do you think? It’s really easy to work and you create all kinds of different designs with your personal photos…...

Affiliate Marketing Favorites

It was around 1998 or ’99 I started creating websites and not long after that, I discovered affiliate marketing.. while I was working at home, enjoying my new web design hobby and already promoting tools and resources I found interesting online.. why not make a little money in the meantime? The very first affiliate program I joined was for Club Mom, back in 2000. I was a proud member of Club Mom back then as I had two young children at...
