I just lost my little bird, Petey after having him in my life for 37 years. After I had his little funeral I went right home and went to work to keep my mind occupied and stop from drifting down into self-absorbed grief. I've always used my art and my talents to keep my mind from going to the dark places whenever possible. You know this advice works when you’re hurting emotionally too, Karlyn.
