Since writing this original post, I have decided that there is too much information, photos and documents to share for just one page and have designed a blog just for this sharing. I hope you visit this new site for Irene - http://www.irene-lentz.com/

Irene consistently created beautiful and elegant gowns and suits throughout her career. Her styles were classic and never dated. Among her many celebrity clients was Marlene Dietrich, who demanded that her gowns be stunning. During World War II Dietrich entertained American troops in Europe. For many of her shows she used the same Irene gown that was then eight years old. A testament to Irene's classic style and how much Marlene loved her Irene gown, one of several she owned.
