I had a lot of fun today getting this site put together the way I want, with it’s new wordpress theme. I like the layout and the organization of it. I feel like posts and pages within my site will now get noticed and not hidden away to be archived forever like before. Using the Opera browser

…and really liking it too. I have been a big firefox fan for years and don’t use IE unless I HAVE to, but Opera’s features are very alluring. It’s a fast loading browser and very customizable, like firefox is.

I like the many widgets I can add to enhance my browsing experience and did I mention how customizable it is? This is important to me obviously. I like setting up my bookmarks, contacts and whatnot into easy reach.

A feature I’m using quite a lot is the Speed Dial. Besides looking cool, it’s nice to see updated thumbnails of my favorite sites when I open a new tab. Opera for the desktop can be found here: http://www.opera.com/products/desktop/

Or, sync your PC-to-Laptop folders if you’re like me! I so glad I found this program. It’s been a huge time saver for me as it syncs my folders for me automatically in the background while I work. The days of loading up my thumbdrive and transferring data onto my laptop each week are over! I set up the folders I want to sync and the work is done for me. This includes my firefox settings, addons, bookmarks, and anything else I want. It’s very useful when making sure my website & design folders on both my desktop and laptop stay updated. SnipShot Lets you edit photos online easy

SnipShot is perfect for those smaller photo editing jobs and quick photo posting online. There are only five tools to choose from – undo, resize, crop, rotate and adjust – but a nice alternative to your the more hefty software loaded on your pc if you don’t really feel like going there. I found the firefox extension for snipshot very useful too. Getting it hooked up in your right-click menu makes editing anything online a breeze. Where to put your cool new edited photo? SnipShop helps with that too.. Just another click sends your newly spiffied up photo to webshots image storage and supplies you with handy links for immediate display on your fav social network. Or, just save the photo to your pc and go about your day. I like the convenience of SnipShot. Hope you do too.

I downloaded the twitbox and I like it. It’s a windows app for twitters like me. Why it Twitter so appealing? I have no idea. I think you just have to try it. If you do, you might consider the twitbox as well. :)

Magentic Wallpaper and Screensavers

I have to say a good word or two about this new Magentic program I’m using on both my desktop and laptop computers because I’m just enjoying it so much. Magentic is free software you can download to your computer to manage your wallpapers and screensavers and their gallery is terrific! I set up my wallapaper to automatically and randomly change every 15 minutes, and my screensaver to change each run. The selection of quality wallpaper is worth it alone, but then they have these georgous animated screensavers too.
